Someone please tell me why, broke-a** Black people are shooting off fireworks. The last four hours have been non-stop fireworks. I don't mean sparklers and firecrackers, I'm talking about those huge bombs things that give off long trails of multiple colors. Why?
Each explosion is money being burned. Money that us a valuable resource that could provide an economic foundation for our families and communities. Now don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with folks having a good time but I submit to you that the folks shooting off fireworks are not doing it for patriotic reasons. Who's kidding who?
It's time for us to think smart. Spending money for all these fireworks is not a smart thing to do. Think about it.
