I’m a Schmoozer and I’m Cool? Go figure.

My new friend, Liv of madness, madness I say!, has bestowed upon me the Power of Schmooze Award. Guess what? Liv thinks I’m cool too. Yeah, quit laughing. Miss Liv is truly witty and I’d advise you not to get caught in the middle of the banter between she and mikeachim.

Anyhoo, I’m to select five bloggers I feel are deserving of the award for schmoozing but before I do , exactly what is schmoozing?

Darlene Tenes, CEO of Marketing Maniacs says, “The art of schmoozing is an essential social, career and life skill. Many people at the top of their fields are excellent schmoozers. They know how to connect with people and are able to leverage those connections.” I definitely need to work on the leveraging part.

On the real, I’ve connected with so many bloggers lately because of my 2000 Bloggers post. That idea was not mine; I bit off my neighbor, Christy of Christy’s Coffee Break. The next thing I know, there was an explosion in traffic on my blog.

That being said, I'd like to thank Liv again and post the five bloggers I think are most deserving of the schmoozing award. Each recipient is to post the badge on their site with a link to their post and bestow the award upon five bloggers. Christy was my first choice to receive the award but she’s already received it twice within a few weeks. She must really be a schmoozer. Congrats, Christy!

So, without further ado and in no particular order, The Power of Schmooze Award goes to:

Schmooze_award_3 Maria of BAAAHHH!, Marty of MartyBLOGs, Marenda of Living Life Abundantly, Jim of A Lad's Lunch with Favor and Jeanne of Binding Ink. I could post something about each of them but they are very similar in that their honesty, sincerity and passion for their blog topic transcend the computer screen. Although all touch on different blog topics, each is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

That’s it ladies and gents, go forth and schmooze some more; it’s a good thing.

Happy Blogging!

Smooches!....

Hi Vanessa, thank you for mentioning me, that's so nice! I absolutely love the style of your blog, I'm going to blogroll you so I can come back again to visit! Take Care! :)

Thank you so very much!!! I'm very honored!!!

Maria:)

Thank you, thank you, yes and thank you too. Shmoozing is all about relationship building and I try to do it regularly. Thank you for the honor Vanessa. Once we get the new apple installed - I didn't tell you my PC crashed last week only days after yours - then I will continue in my schmooziness more consistently again LOL!

Last night I posted from the Lewis Cooper Memorial Library in Opelika. Today during lunch break I'm taking advantage of the tax supported system at the Auburn City Library.

Thank you for remembering me, I have not fallen off the face of the earth, love ya like a sister.

Schmooze on!

To be awarded this by you, Mz. Queen Vanessa - Humorist and Intellectual Humanistic Schmoozer of Them All - is a delight! Thank you VBbyers! I am looking forward to, most assuredly; adding an additional paragraph in my previous post, about this fantastic award from you; given concurrently to me by Journey with Waterlearner. For no one can ever have enough Schmooze Support! So Thank you again Vanessa!

I've still been distracted somewhat because

Kind Regards for Everyone!
