I'm white....and the notion of a "white tree" in this day and age and the fact that these students felt they had to ask "permission" to sit under it is so totally disgusting to me that it's beyond words.

Indeed, it is, Linda but that's what's actually happening in America today. It's ugly but it's also the truth.
