Rest in Peace, Wendie Jo Sperber

Wendie Jo Sperber passed away from breast cancer on Tuesday, November 29th. She was a fabulous actor and I remember her most fondly Amy from the early 1980’s with Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari in Bosom Buddies. Bosom Buddies was really a great show. If you haven’t seen it, try to get a few episodes through Amazon.com or your local video store. The raw and brilliant comedic talent of Sperber and other cast members was apparent from the first episode. Sperber was diagnosed with cancer in 1997. She started a cancer support organization called weSPARK. Check out their website at http://www.wespark.org/. Please encourage all of your adult family and friends to get tested for breast cancer. It is a threat to both women and men. Leave a legacy of love, hope and assistance in memory of Wendie Jo Sperber and other breast cancer victims. Peace and Blessings to her parents and two children. © 2005 VANESSA BYERS
