india.arie is one of the few true young musicians. I am constantly in awe of her dedication to her craft and refusal to conform to lowered music industry standards and eurocentric beauty pressures.

arie appears to be one of those folks who is doing what they truly love. She could have sold many more records and she somehow ends up not quite in the spotlight as she should be. Check out india.arie for a positive, uplifting message without the vulgarity we've sadly become accustomed to.
