(For Immediate Release-Miami, FL)-31 May 2011-The South Florida Community will celebrate the life and pay tribute to Will Bell ("Will Da Real One"), one of the foremost spoken word artists of the poetry industry in America. He was killed in the early morning on Sunday, May 29th after closing his cafe (The Literary Cafe in North Miami). His untimely death is a loss for his family, friends and a community of spoken word artists locally and internationally.

The viewing will take place on Friday, June 4 3, 2011, at Wright and Young Funeral Home (15332 NW 7th Ave, Miami,FL) from Noon-9pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 54, 2011 at Cooper Temple located at 3800 NW 199th Street, Miami Gardens, FL from 1pm-4pm.

Named Best Poet, by the Miami Times in 2005, Liberty City native, Will Da Real One made "freeing minds" his mission. He appeared on HBO's Def Poetry Jam for two seasons. Some of his signature pieces included "Run", "Black Heroes", and "When I Grow Up and Run". He was a dedicated son, devoted brother, driven entrepreneur and determined poet. He will truly be missed but his dedication, devotion, drive and determination will live on through his poetic legacy.

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.
The next morning while they are eating breakfast,
The young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside.
"That laundry is not very clean", she said.
"She doesn't know how to wash correctly.
Perhaps she needs better laundry soap."

Her husband looked on, but remained silent.

Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry,
The young woman would make the same comments.

About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a
Nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:

"Look, she has learned how to wash correctly.
I wonder who taught her this."

The husband said, "I got up early this morning and
Cleaned our windows."

And so it is with life. What we see when watching others
Depends on the purity of the window through which we look .

Here are tips on contacting your elected officials. These tips are provided by the League of Women Voters of the United States. We get the government we deserve if we are not actively engaged in the political process. Please utilize these tips. Share them with family and friends. Let your voice be heard.

The strength of our democracy depends on citizens getting involved and engaging our government. Keep these tips handy when contacting your elected officials.

1. Politicians aren’t interested in the opinions of people who can’t vote for them. Identify yourself as a constituent of the legislator you’re contacting.
2. Whether writing or calling your legislators, focus on a single topic. You’ll be more effective and receive a faster response.
3. Ask the legislator to take specific action, like supporting a piece of legislation. Ask for a written response that gives your legislator’s position on the issue.
4. Make your points quickly and concisely to have greater impact.
5. When talking about an issue, it’s best to use your own words.
